Crowns & Owls

Crowns & Owls is a creative trio working in music videos, photography, fashion, and creative direction. Originally from northern England, the trio has gone on to establish themselves as a creative studio in London with a broad spectrum of output.

C&O became known for spearheading iconic music campaigns for artists such as Slowthai, Lil Yachty, Octavian, and Skepta, as well as several high-profile and bold projects for Nike. In addition to collaborations in photography and creative direction for artists such as James Blake, Chase & Status, Disclosure, Pink Pantheress, London Grammar, Nemahsis, and others.

The trio has also focused on impactful photographic exhibitions, such as their mental health-oriented series Within, as well as making an impact in the luxury industries.

The trio specializes in crafting coherent imagery across campaigns, delivering photographic and moving image elements that feel indistinguishable from one another, with a signature hands-on approach. In 2023, they won Best R&B / Soul Video at the UKMVAs for Lil Yachty – Say Something. They further collaborated with the Atlanta artist in 2024, when they executed the creative direction of Yachty’s collab album with James Blake, “Bad Cameo”. They also shot the collab between Nike, Travis Scott and John McEnroe in 2024.

More recently, they collaborated with adidas for their latest campaign “You Got This”, directing a series of 6 different short films entitled “We All Need Someone To Make Us Believe”.
