NABIL
Nabil is an American director and photographer, currently living in LA but constantly travelling. He is an avid surfer. His initial experience of photography was through photo shoots of the surfing scene in Australia, capturing mostly natural light - the way different times of the day looked different on the water.
Nabil is a regular collaborator with Travis Scott, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Foals and The Weeknd. Recent standout work includes more music videos with Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Vince Staples and James Blake.
His poignant video for Antony & The Johnsons, Cut The World, starring Willem Dafoe and Marina Abramovic, got him into 2013’s Saatchi & Saatchi New Director Showcase. And his video for Anohni with Naomi Campbell was picked as one of the best 10 videos of 2016 according to Vanity Fair.
He has also created visuals on cross-media projects for Puma, Nike, Coca-Cola, Adidas & Oxfam. He won a Cannes Silver Lion for his campaign for Beats by Dre during the Football World Cup 2014 in Brazil with Neymar and a long list of prestigious artists and athletes.
In 2018, two of his commercials were broadcasted during the Super Bowl: Doritos vs Mountain Dew with Morgan Freeman, Peter Dinklage, Missy Elliot and Busta Rhymes and another Beats by Dre spot.
In 2021, NABIL released his first feature film, “Gully”, starring Amber Heard, Terrence Howard and Jonathan Majors.
In 2024, he directed three music videos for South African new superstar Tyla.
