Nima Nourizadeh

Nima started his career in the London alternative art scene. His passion for music and his experience in film have led him to pursue a career directing commercials, music videos and feature films.

Nima has made a name for himself by directing numerous award-winning music videos for artists such as Chromeo, Franz Ferdinand and Dizzee Rascal. In 2008, he received the Best Director award at the UKMVAs and shortly after, he directed his first films for Adidas, including the House Party campaign in honor of the brand’s 60th anniversary, featuring athletes and artists such as David Beckham, Missy Elliott, Katy Perry,... The film received several awards including Silver at Cannes Lions.

Iranian-born and London-based director, he studied at Central St. Martins College of Art & Design before creating with a group of friends the collective The Imaginary Tennis Club to make music videos for emerging British artists.

In 2010, he teamed up with producers Todd Philipps and Joel Silver to direct his first feature film PROJECT X. Five years later, he directed his second film, AMERICAN ULTRA, starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart.

Nima shot his first TV show, Gangs of London, in 2020 and directed two episodes of The Gentleman, with Guy Ritchie, that were released in 2024 on Netflix.
