Philippe Tempelman
Philippe Tempelman is a director known for his distinctive visual style and innovative approach to storytelling. He developed a passion for visual art, cinema, and photography early on.
After studying visual arts and cinema in Sweden, he quickly emerged as a creative force in the Swedish film industry.
Philippe is particularly appreciated for his ability to combine strikin visuals with emotionally powerful narratives. His strength lies in his ability to create narrative worlds from minute details, giving his films a unique texture and tone.
As a director, he has collaborated with numerous international brands such as Bvlgari, H&M, Volvo, Rimowa, Renault, Betway, and Polestar, creating commercials that stand out for their creativity and visual impact.
In 2019, he directed a short film, SONS OF MY COUNTRY, to support ECPAT, a global network ending child sexual exploitation. It was co-produced by VIXENS, the feature film arm of PHANTASM, and selected at the Göteborg Film Festival. In 2024, he directed a short film, THE CIRCLE, to raise awareness on mental health.
He won Best Director and Best Commercial at the Roygalan 2016. In 2021, Philippe won Bronze in the Automotive Film category at the Cannes Lions, as well as Gold for Best Cinematography at the Club des DA for his Renault film, The Feeling.
